  Welcome Baby Emily!
  
  Emily Claire Silva was born on January 14th at 3:31pm. She was 6lbs, 3oz and 19 inches long. She had a little trouble breathing at first, it took about 20 minutes for her circulation and breathing to become normal, but she's doing fine now and had already surpassed her birth weight at her doctor appointment on Friday (6lbs 5oz as of Friday, Jan 18th!) She is sleeping and eating very well and we are all happy to have her here at last.
  
  Zack is SO thrilled to be a big brother. He wants to hold her all the time and says he loves her little feet. He is my official diaper bag carrier and a big help. More pictures will be posted within the next couple of days!

  Grandaddy:  Glad she's here at last. She is a DOLL!
  I'm pleased she is doing so well and, at least for now, has not been too much trouble.
  Her big brother is grinning now but just wait. A wince will come.

  mom & dad silva:  Hi: We are thrilled with our new grandchild. So cute and happy Zack is enjoying Emily. Hope to see you and Emily before she gets too big.
